VolksWagen Polo

The biggest car maker in the world has launched the VW Polo in India. It was Shown at the 10 Auto Expo at Delhi. the car is positioned in the premium-hatchback segment.
To be a competitor to Maruti’s Swift, Hyundai’s Getz, Tata Motor’s Indica, Skoda Fabia and Honda Jazz.


Polo had got very much length and width when compared to the other hatchback cars. It has got a length of 3952mm and a width of 1682mm. Also it has got a boot space of 280ltrs. and when the backseats are pulled up enough space will be there for the luggages to hold, which is good for a hatchback.
The VW Polo is equipped with a 3-cylinder 1.2 litre TDI engine and the 1.2-litre and 1.4 litre TSI petrol engine.
The estimated price of VW Polo will be around Rs 4.5- 6 lakh.

VW's Beetle

VW has been famous for manufacturing Sedans.
VW beetle is a classic car. It has a classic looks. It reminds of the 80's car, which were small, and sweet.
The Beelte is a small car, very pleasant looks and sweet. With everyome preferring to buy sedans, and SUV, VW beetle gives a new and fresh look to the market.


The car has got sweet round clear class headlamps. In the front it has a big VW logo. It has god a grill in the front bumpers and is quite different from others. The rear is also like a classic car, with a round tail lights.
This small wonder from VW has got a 2.5 l engine which gives power of about 150 HP @5,000 rpm and torque of 228Nm @3750rpm.This small car promises to give a millage of 20 in city and 29 on highways. It also got ABS, Tire Pressure Monitoring System(TPMS), Electronic stability Program(EPS)
This small wonder is available in both manual and automatic version.
This car is has a price in between $ 18000-$ 20000. This car is soon expected to be launched in India also.

Volkswagen Concept BlueSport

Efficient, mid-engine roadsters aren’t anything new. As Lotus and Tesla have shown, if you start with a lightweight vehicle and tune the chassis properly, the end result will be an efficient and fun vehicle, no matter what propels the wheels. Volkswagen’s Concept BlueSport asks, “What if a diesel engine propels those wheels?”

To find out the answer, the diesel fanatics at Volkswagen have created a 2640-pound roadster powered by a clean and efficient turbo-diesel engine. In the minds of most car enthusiasts, diesel and sports cars have traditionally been incompatible. Diesel engines seem to have the wrong character for sports-car use: low-revving, smoke-belching, and as groan-filled as a porno movie.

The Concept BlueSport certainly looks like a sports car. Volkswagen’s latest design cues are in evidence as the final product could be the love child of a Volkswagen Scirocco and an Audi TT. So the big question remains, is the 180-hp, 2.0-liter turbo diesel four-cylinder engine—essentially a higher-output version of the Jetta TDI’s engine—an appropriate powerplant for a sports car?

The engine is certainly not likely to be belching much smoke. As the Jetta TDI has proven, the modern diesel can be as clean as a gasoline engine. It may be low-revving with the horsepower peak at only 4200 rpm, but the diesel’s torque peak of 258 lb-ft occurs just off idle at 1750 rpm. Despite its low-spinning nature, the BlueSport promises credible performance. Volkswagen claims a 0-to-60 time of 6.2 seconds with a top speed of 140 mph. Convincing numbers to be sure, but how will this engine sound? Will it play a sweet tune, or will it merely murmur like the diesel engine in the Jetta?

We’ll have to wait to hear what it sounds like, but according to Volkswagen, the BlueSport’s diesel engine will have the expected diesel efficiency. The BlueSport promises 50 mpg on the highway and 35 mpg in the city. So aside from what the engine might sound like, it appears that Volkswagen’s Concept BlueSport has a chance at successfully marrying the sports car with the diesel engine.

The BlueSport may presage a long-rumored production roadster from VW. Company officials are tight-lipped, but we wouldn’t mind seeing something this attractive, efficient, and quick in a showroom.

VW Passat CC

VW is a one of the best car maker in the world. It had mand many cars making it a status symbol.
VW has unveiled a new VW Passat cc, which is a four door Coupe.
It will face a lot of challanges from other car makers. Its main competetion is with NissianTeana , Skoda Superb, Toyota Camry, Merc C class, Audi A4 and BMW 3 series.


Well this car is an inch longer and 1.5 incher wider than the Passat sedan and the overall height is 2 inch lower.
VW Passat CC has 2.0 L TDI engine giving a power of about 140PS and torque of 320Nm and 1.8 L TSI engine giving a power of 160PS and 250Nm torque.
It has a sporty desing, and it look from its desing, its headlamp desing. In the front there is a big VW logo giving it a very sporty feel and in the front there is alot of chrome work done.
Its intereior is also very good. the palatic used is very good .
It has sterring mounted control., Dashboard is also very good desing it uses three colour and use of wood( artificial) is also good.
the back seats this car is such that you will hand over the sterring wheel toa driver . It has arm rest and also there is a space to store things like first aid kit.
But the roof is a bit low in the rear that tall persons will face some problem sitting at the back seats.
It also has parking sensors and electric seat adjustment and many more features.
