Camry is Toyota best car in the market. It is a luxury car from Toyota that is going at its best in the world. This car is liked by one and by all.
with a new year, every car manufacturer is launching the new models of best car, then why Toyota is left behind. Yes they are launching a new version of the best car, Camry.
This car will have a lot of changes, to meet the competition offered by its biggest enemy Honda Accord.



A lot of changes have been made in the new Camry. The Front look is completely changed. The Grill of car is redesigned with a use of chrome, it has got a nice curve with a big Toyota logo in between in the front. The bumpers of the car is also changed these are a bit enlarged to take more air.
The Camry has got a 2.5 l VVT-i engine giving a power of about 169 bhp and also comes in a 3.5 l V6 engine giving a power of about 266 bhp. The dimensions of the car are 4815 X 1820 X1480 mm
It has got a HID projector type head lamps, retracale headlamps cleaner. In the rear, a lot of changes have been made. the tail light is wrap around with a new design giving a amore luxury feeling to the car.
The car is stylish and spacious and comfortable interiors. the instrument panel is changed.All the instrument are arranged ergonomically and logically on the instrument panel. The optician combinational meter and distinctive contrast contributes to excellent visibility.

It is expected to launch in march. Lets see how this car will perform once it is launched .

Prepare your car for the winter

As you dress in winter, you put some extra clothes on, to prevent getting any infection. Similarly you car need some more attention in the winter.

• Check the nozzle of windshield washer, some time it may get blocked.

Ford to launch Fiesta Hatch

Ford is one of the premier manufacturer of car. It has produced many world class car which include Ford Fiesta and many more.
The latest is that, Ford is planning to launch a hatch version of one of its premier sedan, yes the fiesta.
Fiesta hatch is one of the best seller in European market and it will be soon seen on India road.


Since with the increasing competition in the hatch segment, Ford will come in to this segement with the Ford Fiesta Hatch. this car will face competition from many cars which include Maruti Swift, Skoda Fabia, Hyundai Getz and i20, which has establish they mark in this field.
The Fiesta hatch is expected to be launched in two variants both in petrol and diesel.
1.4 l Duratech engine giving a power of about 80 PS and 1.6 l giving a power of 100Ps
1.4l giving a power of about 68 PS and 1.6 l giving a power of 90PS and both are Duratorq iesel engine
Since keeping the other cars in view , Ford Fiesta is expected to be priced in between 5-6 lakhs and is expected to be launched mid of 2009.

The All New 5th generation Hyundai Sonata

Sonata is Hyundai's best sedan, luxury car. It is quite old car of Hyundai.With a the new, the Hyundai has launched the fifth generation of Sonata, called the Hyundai Sonata Transform.
In the new Sonata , you will find subtle changes in the design and look giving a new factor.It has a biggest competition from the Honda Accord, with these changes it can definitely meet the challenge.


The design is quite change from the old one. there is a redesign in the headlamps of the car, they are a bit bigger than the old Sonata.The grill is also changed and gives a more sophisticated look to the car. The rear has got minor changes with the tail lamp.
the interior are also changed. It give a more upmarket look and the use of color is also good.
The engine of the Transform is a 2.4 l variable vale timing petrol engine the gives a power of 175 BHP and the 2.0l CRDi engine gives a power of 150 BHP which is more then the old Sonata Embera.
The Transform has got a dual zone climate control. The drive is smooth, bumps absorbent ride and cavernous interior design which may force you to buy this car.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

Mitsubhishi is one of the premier producer of sedans. It has produced many sedans which are sporty and also standard of luxury.
Lancer is Mitsubhishi's most successfull car. Mitsubishi is now planning to launch an advance version of the Lancer and make its comebace.
Mitsubishi will be launching a new version of the Lancer , Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. This car will be facing a lot of challenges mainly by Honda Civic, Skoda Octavia, Fiat Liena, Honda Accord, Corolla Altis are the main competitor of this car.


Lancer Evolution is a sporty car. It is having a trapozoidal grill in the front and the headlights are meaner giving it a very sporty fealling. The head lights are quite similar to the old lancer.
This Mitsubishi car is powered bya 2.0 l petrol engine which will be giving a power of 291 bhp@6500 rpm and torque of about 407 nm@4400rpm and Super All Wheel Control (SWAC) drive system.It also has ABS sysytem.

Volvo's XC90

When you come to hear this word, you mainly associate it with iether buses or trucks. But Volvo has been a premier manufacturer for four wheelers.
It has manufactured car which are safe and luxurious. And this you may see from its Volve XC90 , which is a mid size SUV.
Volvo XC90 come in 2 variants ,3.2 and V8.


The volvo car has a lot of line giving a very muscular look to the car, which is adding a lot to the rugged nature of the car. The grill is trapezoidal in shape and a lot of chorme is used witha a big Volvo logo in the center.
The 3.2 l is a n entry level model and has a inline 6 cylinder engine giving a power of 235 HP
And V8 variant has a 4.4 l engine giving a power of 311 HP providing a very strong accelerationa but the milage is quite low for this model.
The siting capacity of both the variants are different . the 3.2 is a 5 seater whereas V8 varient is 7 seating, and this is a premium SUV.
This SUV has pioneered Roll Stability Control. It is also equipped with Blind Spot Information System BLIS, a very interesting feature. It informs the driver via indicators if another car comes close to the blind spot, via cameras which are mounted on the side mirror.
It has Airbags for all the seats.
It is also equipped with AWP and it will make a very good snow vehicle.

Chevrolet Volt, Cadillac Converj

GM promised a production Volt in 2010, giving Weber just over three years to do a job that typically would take twice that time—and that’s for a conventional car. And since the Volt is an electric vehicle with a gasoline engine used only as a generator to recharge the batteries, all the mechanical and electronic technology would have to be developed from scratch. To this end, GM set out on an unprecedented parallel development path with teams working on the car and the powertrain simultaneously, both trusting that the other would come through.

Fast-forward two years to the 2009 Detroit auto show, and Weber says he is still on track with the Volt program. In an exclusive interview with CARandDRIVER.com, Weber talked about GM’s biggest Volt news, the announcement that GM will build Volt battery packs in-house. Weber says, "We don’t want anybody between us and the cell." To this end, GM is building a factory where it will produce the T-shaped battery packs for the Volt. The individual cells will be supplied by an outside company (they are a commodity item that can be sourced from a variety of suppliers), but GM will have final authority over the thermal, structural, and electrical control considerations.

According to Weber, GM’s decision to make the battery packs in-house guarantees that precise engineering requirements can be met. While Weber didn’t admit the following, it also prevents other car companies from getting quick access to these advanced battery packs, which are the most challenging components in bringing electric vehicles to market. As such, Weber figures GM may beat other car companies with an extended-range electric vehicle to market by a year or even two.

2010 Jaguar XK / XKR Coupe and Convertible

As well as introducing the exciting new XFR at the 2009 Detroit auto show, Jaguar also decided to overhaul the XK coupe and convertible range. All the cars get revised exterior styling with a different front bumper and rear valance, rear LED lights, and color-coded side vents. Inside, Jaguar has changed the center console to incorporate its unique gear selector, a rotary control that pops up after starting the engine.

The big news, however, is under hood. Both the naturally aspirated XK and supercharged XKR models receive an all-new 5.0-liter V-8 engine. Called AJ-V8 Gen III, this engine apparently shares just two parts with the outgoing 4.2 liter engine: the cylinder head bolts and the exhaust tappets.

The new engines feature direct injection and variable camshaft timing that is activated by torque generated by the opening and closing of the valves rather than by oil pressure. The naturally aspirated engine has a new variable intake manifold and camshaft profile switching in the intake cam, where there is lower lift at low rpm, helping gas mileage and torque below 3000 rpm.

The upshot is a lot more power: the naturally aspirated XK now has 385 hp and 380 pound-feet of torque, up from 300 hp and 310 lb-ft. The supercharged R has 510 hp and 461 lb-ft compared with 420 hp and 413 lb ft. Jaguar claims that the 0-60 mph time for the XKR Coupe has been reduced to 4.6 seconds. Other changes include the addition of active electronic differential control for the XKR. This system uses an electric motor to activate a clutch pack without any ABS involvement in order to optimize traction.

While Jaguar was at it, the range has been simplified to two models—the Portfolio and the R. The revised XKs go on sale this summer as 2010 models.
